This black oxide metal crimp is designed for 1" (25.4 mm) diameter/ width lanyards. The black oxide metal crimp serves as a clasp for the 1" lanyard's finish feature (i.e. split ring) so that it does not shift around the lanyard. The crimp for 1" lanyards is made of black oxide metal.
