This lanyard crimp is designed for 1/8" (3mm) and 3/8" (10mm) wide lanyards. The crimp is made of black oxide metal and serves as a clasp for the lanyard's finish feature (i.e. split ring) so that it does not shift around the lanyard. The black oxide metal crimp is a great finishing touch.
