This Fargo thermal printhead is specifically designed for printers that use thermal technology to produces images. The print head transfers the image onto a print medium, such as a plastic card, using heat. Printers that can be used with the Fargo 86091 thermal print head are Fargo HDP5000 and DTC550 models.
This printhead is configured for field replacement, meaning that you can change it yourself without sending your printer to a specialist.
