A California town announced a plan recently to give plastic ID cards to all mentally disabled individuals in the town in case of emergency.The police department in Ukiah, California recently announced a partnership with the Ukiah Valley Association for Habilitation to produce and distribute plastic ID cards for the developmentally disabled, according to the Ukiah Daily Journal. The cards will contain contact information in the event of an emergency.
