Dynamic Card Solutions issued plastic card printers to a bank as part of its program to issue debit cards instantly
Dynamic Card Solutions recently announced a partnership with BankAtlantic to provide plastic card printers to improve the bank’s instant debit card issuance program at 99 of its locations.
BankAtlantic recently began using Dynamic Card Solutions’ FCP 20/20 flat card printers with the company’s instant issue software as part of its recent program to issue debit cards to its customers within minutes. Through custom card printing, customers choose a background image to print onto blank plastic cards, and the Dynamic Card Solution software transfers the customer’s personal account information into the printer.
Officials with the bank recently explained that the new plastic card printers have helped the company improve its customer service. Tom Triozzi, senior vice president and director of marketing for BankAtlantic, said "our instant issue program has been a huge success over the years, and converting to unembossed cards enables us to offer an even higher level of customer service, as well as streamline our branch issuance process."
The instant issuing of debit cards at the bank improves secure delivery by eliminating the risk of mailing debit cards to customers. Visa has also recently invested in smartcard technology to boost security on its customers’ credit card use online.
