A new, two-sided drop on demand printing solution for prepaid plastic cards has been announced by Germany company Atlantic Zeiser. The solution will enable increased prepaid card volumes and lower card costs.

A new high-speed encoder by CIM USA can encode 3,000 smart cards per hour. The MultiEncoder can be configured with up to 16 independent chip stations. Each station of the encoder can handle both contact and contactless encoding.
Zebra Technologies, one of ID Superstore’s manufacturers, has created a retransfer card printer to create on-demand plastic ID cards. The company, which also supplies printer cleaning kits, printer parts and much more, has also created IQ color labels. The labels are exclusive to Zebra and help highlight important information and visual cues.
