New ID card printers coming out this summer can help businesses with their office identification programs
A new line of ID card printers is being released this summer, highlighting the benefits of custom printed card systems for businesses.
New plastic card printers in the market are designed to fit the needs of any size organizations, and offer single and dual side printers as well as ID card laminating systems. The Evolis Pebble single side ID card printer, released this summer, has the capacity to print up to 150 plastic ID cards per hour with features for magnetic strip encoding, a manual card feeder and Ethernet connectivity options.
Business professionals can enhance security and convenience in office operations by implementing in-house ID card printers. Small business owner Edward Moran, who employs nearly 75 people, explained why he recently purchased an ID printer for his office.
"These days it’s important to keep your people and your information safe," he said. "Increasing security measures is the smart, responsible thing to do. The additional security helps reduce my risk and keep insurance rates down."
Custom card printing has become a common convenience measure for business operations in the banking industry. Earlier this month, BankAtlantic implemented a program to bring plastic card printers to 99 of its branch locations to fulfill its immediate card issuance program.
