Support for Microsoft Databases.
The program supports Microsoft Access (2000, 2003, and 2007) natively. Data from MS SQL Server (2000, 2003 and 2008) and DVTEL databases can be imported/exported via Live Link™.

Add-on features.
Implementation of the program for educational institutions is made possible by purchasing add-ons. For schools, colleges and universities that use the Student Interoperability Framework (SIF), the SIF agent can be used to allow consistent data-sharing. The Student Photo CD is also available as a separate purchase for importing and exporting data from and to SASI-compliant databases.

Asure ID is compatible with a wide variety of printers.
Auto-Update.
Software updates are free with Asure ID. Users are alerted by a notification when a free update is available. For smart card support, laser text engraving, and integration with physical access control solutions, upgrade to the Asure ID Exchange edition.
